I'm a Washington DC-based writer who's been living in the city since 1996. I'm a husband, father, and have equal passions for great stories and sustainability.

On the literary side, some great magazines (like Harpur Palate, The Columbia Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, and others) have published my fiction and I've been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.

On the personal side, I'm doing what you do... trying to balance family and work and life, making a buck with making a difference. I love to practice aikido, travel, read books and watch movies, and hear other people's stories.
